S.B.M. Teachers’ Training College, Babhanbay, Hazaribag is not only a college, but an Institution which beside catering to the need of imparting education to the willing brilliant minds, also represents as epicentre of Spiritual, religious and social training, under the guidance of its President, Swami Tapananda Ji Maharaj. S.B.M. Teachers’ Training College, Babhanbay, Hazaribag follows the path of Divine Trio Sri Ramakrishna Paramhans, Sarada Maa and Swami Vivekananda. It is located in bestowed beauty of Woody Campus in Hazaribagh. The college is seven kilometres away from Hazaribagh Bus stand, about 82 kilometres from capital city of Jharkhand, (Ranchi) and easily accessible by road. Here B.Ed. Education leads to learning the steps to cultivate a new space of education, and enriching young minds to new heights of excellence. Education in general, including B.Ed. is undergoing enlargement of scope and dimension with the pursing year. We have been fortunate to get the modern and time proven system to incorporate that in our institutional curriculum. Our B.Ed. College is well equipped with qualified teachers and library books. All the different courses of B.Ed. education with their restrict time frame is systematically and sincerely adhered to and the result is exemplary at the end. The college provides an eco-friendly atmosphere for the students that help the students to achieve their goals. The institution has a well-developed established infrastructure including library, ICT lab, laboratory, instructional room, music & art room for all-round students’ development.

Swami Tapananda, the Founder President of Sri Ramakrishna Sarada S Ashrama, and S.B.M. Teachers' Training College, Hazaribag had felt after 30 years experience in managing a very successful institution that, "Teachers play a very important role in a student's life". It is, to a great extent, the teachers who decide the shape, a student's career will take. So, it is very necessary to be adequately equipped with resources that will make the teacher a perfect role model of the student. To achieve this, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is introduced, which will teach a person about teaching and the various aspects associated with teaching. Almost every Central and State University offers degree in B.Ed.

Once a person completes the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) training, then he is awarded with a B.Ed. degree. If person is passionate about making career for future India, he should serve in teaching sector. Teaching sector is a large growing sector which needs good and quality teacher. Here, the teacher making process is concerned with high efficacy and provides them with skill, ICT use and different methodology teacher's are needed in large quantity for growing India. My vision is that we should produce a distinctive, intelligent and Tech savvy teacher to compete in future. So desire of achieving this, come and join us. Here the atmosphere is full of piousness and ethnicity and built up on ideology of Swami Vivekananda. Whether you are an Arts or a Science graduate, you need to have the B.Ed. degree. The progress of any teaching institution depends upon how the management takes care of its members, be it the principal, teachers, non teaching staff or the students. The management of S.B.M.T.T.C., is one of those rare pioneers whose unsolicited support helps in the faster growth of its members.

The college with a sumptuous building with exclusive library facilities, well furnished computer labs, faculty rooms and lecture halls can claim uniqueness. We have a committed group of faculty members and administrative staff. Hence, we never compromise on the quality of education provided and the results support the claim. When the time demands multi tasking, the teachers of the institutions are equipped to meet the need.
